NBU fines Ukrposhta for late submission of information

The National Bank fined Ukrposhta for late submission of information.

This is stated in the message of NBU, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The National Bank of Ukraine has imposed a penalty on Ukrposhta JSC (USREOU 21560045) in the form of a fine of UAH 255,000.

The fine was imposed for violation of the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine regulating activities in the payment market in connection with the company's failure to submit to the National Bank information/documents and/or copies thereof requested in accordance with the requirements established by the National Bank within the established time limits.

This decision was made by the Committee on Banking Supervision and Regulation of Banks and Oversight of Payment Systems of the National Bank on March 16, 2026.

The said institution is obliged to pay a fine within five business days from the date of receipt of the decision of the Committee on Banking Supervision and Regulation of Banks and Oversight of Payment Systems of the National Bank.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, at the end of last year, the National Bank applied a sanction to the Ukrposhta joint-stock company (USREOU 21560045) in the form of a written warning for violating the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine regulating activities in the payment market.
