The aggressor country of russia is deliberately rerouting Ukrainian drones to the Baltic states to blame Ukraine.

This was announced by the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Heorhii Tykhyi, in his X-account, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Tykhyi apologized to Estonia and other Baltic states for the incidents with drones.

According to him, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Finland have never allowed the use of their airspace for strikes on russia, and Ukraine has never requested this.

Instead, Ukraine is using russian airspace to strike the aggressor's targets in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter on self-defense.

"Russia continues to redirect Ukrainian drones to the Baltics using its electronic warfare. And Moscow is doing this intentionally, along with increased propaganda. We apologize to Estonia and all our Baltic friends for such unforeseen incidents. We are closely cooperating between our specialized agencies to get to the bottom of each case and look for ways to prevent them, including with the direct participation of our expert groups," the Foreign Ministry spokesman emphasized.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 19, Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur reported that the Baltic air defense shot down a drone that entered his country's airspace.
