What is the "Kremlin in Izmailovo"
"Kremlin in Izmailovo" is not a historical Kremlin, but a modern cultural and entertainment complex in the east of Moscow, built in 1998-2007. It was built next to the royal estate of Izmailovo, but the complex itself is a "new development" - a decorative reconstruction in the style of russian architecture of the 16th-17th centuries.
Most of the buildings in the complex are wooden stylizations of ancient russian architecture. The territory houses museums, a fair, workshops, cafes and entertainment spaces for tourists.
The historical estate of Izmailovo really existed from the 16th-17th centuries, but the modern "Kremlin" is not an authentic monument of that era. It was created after the collapse of the USSR as a tourist and commercial project.
Recall that on the night of May 8, drones attacked several regions of russia at once. Explosions were heard in Moscow, Yaroslavl and Rostov-on-Don. Against the background of the attacks, russian airports imposed flight restrictions.
