Restrictions on female officials traveling abroad have been lifted, with the exception of those holding key leadership positions. It was reported by the State Border Guard Service, according to the Ukrainian News agency.

Specifically, it is reported that Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 587 of May 6 has entered into force, amending the Rules for Crossing the State Border by Citizens of Ukraine.

It is noted that certain female employees of state authorities, local self-government bodies, state-owned enterprises, and other specified entities will now be able to cross the state border without additional restrictions.

At the same time, the changes do not apply to women who hold key leadership positions (heads and their deputies).

The changes do not apply to the highest-ranking state officials, key heads of state authorities and their deputies, including members of the Cabinet of Ministers, leadership of ministries and agencies, the Office of the President, the Verkhovna Rada Secretariat, the National Security and Defense Council, the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Bank, as well as members of the Verkhovna Rada, judges of the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court, prosecutors of the Prosecutor General's Office, and heads of state-owned enterprises.
