Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the russian dictator, unwittingly confirmed that russia, the aggressor nation, has no intention of ending the war against Ukraine. Heorhii Tykhyi, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, reported this on his X account on Thursday, May 7.

Tykhyi emphasized that Ushakov, with yet another russian ultimatum, has exposed the kremlin’s true plans. With a single word, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson revealed exactly what russia means when it demands the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the Donbas, which it claims is a condition for ending the war.

"To those who know Russian, this is quite a Freudian slip by Putin’s aide: he demands Ukraine to withdraw from the Donetsk region for the combat action to “pause” (приостановятся) instead of “stop” (остановятся). Clear confession: Moscow wants a respite, not peace. Liars exposed," Tykhyi wrote.
