On April 27, the National Bank’s Board approved the National Bank’s consolidated management report and consolidated financial statements for 2025.
MP Danylo Hetmantsev (Servant of the People) has reported this on Telegram, according to the Ukrainian News agency.
"Today, the NBU Council approved the National Bank’s consolidated financial statements for 2025 and the profit available for distribution. In accordance with the decisions adopted, the NBU will transfer a portion of the profit available for distribution for 2025 to the state budget of Ukraine in a record amount — UAH 146.1 billion. This is almost twice as much as last year," the MP wrote.
In 2025, the regulator transferred a portion of the undistributed profit for 2024 to the budget — amounting to UAH 84.2 billion.
In effect, the NBU Council’s decision confirmed the plan that was approved in the 2026 budget.
According to Article 15 of the Law “On the State Budget for 2026,” this year the regulator must transfer to the budget a portion of undistributed profits amounting to no less than UAH 146 billion.
These funds will be used to finance the needs of the army and defense, which is our unconditional priority.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the National Bank transferred UAH 38.64 billion from its 2023 profits to the state budget.
