On the night of Saturday, April 25, drones attacked the russian Urals for the first time during a full-scale war. The cities of Yekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk, located more than 1,800 kilometers from the borders of Ukraine, were hit.
This was reported by representatives of local authorities and the public.
Local russian publics report that the drones were flying in the direction of the Chelyabinsk Higher Military Aviation School of Navigators.
The Telegram channel Exilenova+ indicates that explosions also occurred on the territory of the Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant. The Governor of the Sverdlovsk Oblast Denis Pasler confirmed the drone attack on Yekaterinburg and stated that the "Kover" [Carpet - ed.] regime is in effect in the region.
The distance from the russian border with Ukraine to Yekaterinburg is over 2,000 km. The probable target of the attack was the Vector defense plant, which is located three kilometers east of the Trinity residential complex, Astra writes. The enterprise is part of the Almaz-Antey concern and specializes in military communications equipment.

According to the russian Ministry of Defense, air defense forces allegedly destroyed 127 drones over 14 regions of the russian federation today.
Recently, Ukrainian long-range drones twice attacked an oil refinery in Tuapse.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, a fire on its territory could not be extinguished for five days. After the strikes, the refinery stopped its work.
