US President Donald Trump has said he doesn't want to extend the ceasefire with Iran and has threatened to resume attacks if a deal is not reached with Tehran. This was reported by CNBC and Reuters on Tuesday, April 21.
Trump stressed that the United States is in a strong negotiating position and will ultimately get a "great deal".
"I don't want to do that. We don't have much time," the US President said when asked about the possibility of extending the ceasefire.
The President also said that the US would resume attacks on Iran if a deal with Tehran is not reached. According to him, the military is ready to act.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 18, US President Donald Trump criticized NATO, accusing the Alliance of refusing to join the war launched by the US and Israel against Iran.
On April 17, Trump said that the naval blockade of Iran would remain in full force until an agreement was reached.
