Cabinet appoints Droniuk as Deputy Foreign Minister instead of Demiokhin

The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Andrii Droniuk as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization instead of Anton Demiokhin. This was announced by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Andrii Myroslavovych Droniuk has been appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization," he said.

Droniuk, 60, previously worked at the Center for Innovation and Development of Defense Technologies of the Ministry of Defense, was a member of the Public Council at the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection, a member of the public union "Ukrainian Association of Excellence and Quality", chairman of the public council at the National Commission for Communications Regulation, CEO of LLC "Intelligent Communications", CEO of LLC "Golden Telecom" (2005-2007).

Demiokhin has held the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization since August 2022.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Serhii Kyslytsia as First Deputy Head of the President's Office.

In September 2024, the Verkhovna Rada appointed First Deputy Minister Andrii Sybiha as Minister of Foreign Affairs.
