Russian army struck energy facility in Chernihiv Region with drones, 54,000 consumers left without electricity

On Tuesday morning, the russian occupation army struck the Nizhyn district of the Chernihiv Region with drones, as a result of the attack, an energy infrastructure facility was damaged, and 54,000 consumers were left without electricity.

The consequences of the enemy strike were reported by the Chernihivoblenergo company, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"An energy facility in the Nizhyn district was damaged. 54,000 consumers were left without electricity in the city of Nizhyn, Nizhyn district," the report says.

Energy workers are already working to restore power supply

The head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, noted in his Telegram channel that the enemy attacked the Nizhyn district with strike drones in the morning, but he did not report on the consequences of the shelling.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of April 6, russians attacked energy facilities in Chernihiv, Nizhyn, and Novhorod-Siverskyi districts, resulting in more than 400,000 consumers being left without electricity.
