On the night of Sunday, April 19, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of important targets of the russian aggressor in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and in the territory of the russian federation. It was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
An enterprise of the enemy's military-industrial complex, Atlant Aero (Taganrog, Rostov Oblast, russia), was hit. As a result, a fire broke out on the territory of the facility.
The General Staff said that Atlant Aero carries out a full cycle of design, manufacture and testing of Molniya strike and reconnaissance UAVs, as well as components for Orion UAVs. The latter weighs about one ton and is capable of carrying up to 250 kg of payload, which can include aerial photography systems, radio reconnaissance modules, optoelectronic systems, KAB-20 guided air bombs, Kh-50 and Kh-BPLA missiles, etc.
"The defeat of this enterprise will reduce the enemy's ability to produce UAVs and weaken the Russian aggressor's ability to strike civilian targets on the territory of Ukraine," the military emphasized.
In addition, the Defense Forces destroyed an enemy ammunition depot near Trudove (TOT, Zaporizhzhia Region).
The enemy's logistics depots were also destroyed near the settlements of Manhush, Topolyne and Mariupol in the Donetsk Region, Smile in the Zaporizhzhia Region, as well as fuel and lubricant tanks near Novopoltavka, also in the Zaporizhzhia Region.
"The enemy's losses and the extent of the damage are being clarified," the General Staff emphasized.
Among other things, the results of the damage to the oil refinery near the russian city of Tuapse were clarified - the primary oil refining unit AVT-12 and the RVS-10000 tanks were damaged and caught fire. At the oil products terminal, the equipment of oil loading berths, buildings and tanks RVS-10000 were damaged.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on April 10, on the night of April 11, the Defense forces have hit the Krymskaya oil pumping station in the Krasnodar Krai of the russian aggressor country and the Hvardiiske oil depot in the occupied Crimea, as well as ammunition depots and drone control centers in the occupied territories.
