Ukraine's Ambassador to the United States Olha Stefanishyna has called on the US administration to renew sanctions against russian oil and oil products.

"We cannot allow Russia to benefit from the actions of its ally, Iran. We call on the US administration to renew sanctions against Russian oil and oil products," Stefanishyna wrote on X.

According to her, it is in the common interests of Kyiv and Washington to limit the funding that the aggressor country russia uses for its attacks on Ukraine and to support the US adversaries.

"If Russia sees that destabilization and war-mongering are profitable, new problems in the world will not be far behind. In particular, a Russian representative has already called the lifting of oil restrictions "cooperation," the ambassador added.
