Ukraine's joint-stock company Ukrposhta has launched delivery to parcel lockers without any extra charges for convenience and added new features to its app for managing shipments.
This is said in a statement by the company, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The report says that now the company's customers have the opportunity not only to pick up parcels without queues at any time, but also to independently change the place of receipt, recipient data or storage period without calling the contact center and unnecessary bureaucracy.
It is noted that today the first 70 parcel lockers have started working in Kyiv, and another 30 in Odesa will appear in April, and by the end of the year the network should expand to 1,000 parcel lockers across the country.
So, during the first weeks, the service is available for prepaid parcels, but by the end of April, payment in the app will be available, which will allow you to pay for delivery directly upon receipt.
And the main thing for the customer is that delivery to a parcel locker costs the same as delivery to a branch, and it is a more convenient format of receipt that does not mean a higher price.
Parcels can be received not only through the app but also by a code from SMS, which allows you to use the service even without a smartphone or stable Internet.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in mid-October 2025, Ukrposhta announced that it was going to launch its own parcel lockers and the first ones would appear in Kyiv and Odesa by the New Year.
