College student Konstantin Bodunov stood in line at the mausoleum of Vladimir Lenin in moscow, hit the sarcophagus with the body several times and threw his moccasin at it because he "disagrees with his politics." It was reported by the Meduza newspaper on Monday, April 13.
On April 8, Bodunov came to Red Square, stood in line to the mausoleum, and when he reached the sarcophagus, he hit it and threw his shoes. For this "desecration," the 18-year-old student was arrested for 10 days for disorderly conduct.
"The student did not admit his guilt. He explained his action by saying that he "disagreed with the economic and religious policies" of Vladimir Lenin," the statement said.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on April 8, the Kyiv City State Administration announced, that a fountain is planned to be installed on the site of the dismantled Lenin monument at the corner of Taras Shevchenko Boulevard and Khreshchatyk Street in Kyiv.
The head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance (UINR), Oleksandr Alfiorov, called the decision of the Kyiv City State Administration to install a fountain at the site of the Lenin monument dangerous.
