On the morning of April 5, drones attacked the Leningrad Oblast of the russian federation, where they damaged a section of the oil pipeline near the port of Primorsk. Monitors recorded flares at the tank farm.

Local authorities and the Crimean Wind monitoring group have stated this.

The governor of the Leningrad Oblast of the aggressor state of russia, Alexander Drozdenko, said that 19 drones were allegedly shot down over russia's Leningrad Oblast, and the debris damaged one of the sections of the oil pipeline near the port of Primorsk.

It is claimed that the blocked pipe is burning out safely and there are no injuries.

Meanwhile, the Crimean Wind monitoring group also noted that another attack on Primorsk took place and several flames were recorded at once, despite a number of previous reports that the burning had stopped.

Primorsk is the largest russian crude oil export facility in the region. Its oil loading capacity is about 1 million barrels of oil and about 300,000 barrels of diesel fuel.

As a reminder, on March 27, it became known that russian oil refineries warned customers that they may be forced to declare force majeure in supplies due to Ukraine's strikes on the ports of Ust-Luga and Primorsk.

Primorsk was attacked by Ukrainian drones on the night of March 22 and was damaged as a result of the raid. However, despite the damage, on March 26, it partially resumed oil shipments.

According to Reuters, nearly half of the tanks in russian port of Primorsk on the Baltic Sea are out of commission as a result of a series of Ukrainian drone attacks in late March this year.
