The army of the aggressor country russia has advanced in the east of the Sumy Region, while the Armed Forces of Ukraine have driven the invaders out of a number of positions in the Pokrovsk direction in the Donetsk Region. It was reported by the DeepState analytical project on Friday, April 3.
In the Sumy Region, the occupiers' army advanced near the village of Riasne. It is located in the east of the region, a few kilometers from the state border.

In the Donetsk Region, Ukrainian troops drove the occupants out of a number of positions near Nove Shakhove.

A little further south, Ukrainian military operations have reduced the so-called "gray zone" near the village of Rodynske.

As the Ukrainian News agency reported, earlier today, on April 3, a russian Army Su-30 fighter jet, which was performing a scheduled training flight, crashed in the occupied Crimea. The crew managed to eject and survived. The russians did not announce the cause of the crash.
As a reminder, yesterday, April 2, it became known that Lieutenant General Alexander Otroshchenko of the russian Northern Fleet was killed in Crimea as a result of the crash of a plane from the russian Northern Fleet. Six other officers of the Northern Fleet were killed along with him.
This refers to the An-26 military transport aircraft, which crashed in the occupied Crimea last Tuesday, March 31.
