The Deposit Guarantee Fund (DGF) proved in the Supreme Court the validity of its claims against Finbank's related parties for UAH 142.3 million.

This is announced in the statement of the Deposit Guarantee Fund, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

On March 26, 2026, the Cassation Economic Court of the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Fund in case No. 910/13325/21, upholding the previously adopted resolution of the Court of Appeal on the full satisfaction of the Fund's claim. The Supreme Court's decision is final and cannot be appealed. It will allow the Fund to continue taking measures for its compulsory execution by the executive service bodies in order to further collect funds and direct them to settlements with the bank's creditors.

During the liquidation of the bank, it was discovered that the bank had been carrying out "schematic" lending before the start of the withdrawal from the market: almost 95% of the loan portfolio of legal entities was issued to persons related to the bank; almost all of these loans were unsecured or with illiquid collateral. Since the bank was declared insolvent, the borrowers have not serviced their loans.

Thus, the unsatisfied amount of the bank's creditors' claims today is UAH 142.3 million.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the largest shareholder of Finbank was Oleksandr Hranovskyi, a business partner of Borys Kaufman.
