Russia strikes port infrastructure in Odesa Region with drones, fire breaks out

On Thursday morning, russian occupiers attacked the port area and residential sector in the Odesa Region with drones, as a result of the strikes, containers in the port caught fire, and residential buildings were also damaged.

This was announced by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The head of the Regional Military Administration said that this time residential buildings and the port area were hit by enemy strikes.

"Containers and four cars caught fire in the port area, two hangars were damaged. In the residential sector, the facade, roof and glazing of a private residential building were damaged, and an unfinished building was destroyed. A balcony and a gas pipe in a high-rise building also caught fire," Kiper wrote.

Rescuers have already extinguished the fires.

There were no casualties or injuries.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on March 31, during an attack by russian occupiers, a strike UAV hit the balcony of a high-rise apartment in Odesa, injuring a man.

On the night of March 29, the occupation forces launched strikes on the Odesa Region, targeting energy facilities and civilian infrastructure.

There was no information about the deaths or injuries among the civilian population.
