A large-scale energy collapse occurred in the occupied Crimea in the evening due to a massive attack by drones. This was reported by the monitoring resource "Crimean Wind".

The peninsula was hit in several stages, which led to cascading power outages in many regions. The main blow came to critical nodes of the energy infrastructure located in the northern and central parts of Crimea. In particular, loud explosions were reported in the area of the Tavrycheska TPP near Simferopol and near the Hvardiyske military airfield, where the occupiers' aircraft are based.

The damage to high-voltage facilities provoked a blackout in Dzhankoi, Krasnoperekopsk, Armiansk, Saky and Feodosia, as well as in the surrounding areas. Local residents described the situation as a sudden and sharp collapse of voltage in the network, after which the light disappeared completely. Analysts claim that the precise hit on one of the key powerful substations led to the complete destabilization and imbalance of the entire power system of the peninsula.

It is noted that the first drones appeared in the sky over Crimea at around 06:30 pm, and three hours later the second phase of the raid began. As of late evening, the situation remained tense, as monitoring groups reported new groups of drones that continued to approach targets, deepening the energy crisis in the occupied region.
