In 2025, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with 81,300 new passenger cars in the private and corporate sectors of the car market, the most popular in the private sector was Volkswagen ID.Unyx.
This is stated in the message of the Ukravtoprom association, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The message says that of this number, 56,600 passenger cars were sold to private clients, and 24,700 were purchased by legal entities.
So, compared to 2024, sales of new passenger cars in the private segment of the car market increased by 28%, and in the corporate segment decreased by 2%.
When purchasing new passenger cars, private buyers preferred the following models: Volkswagen ID.Unyx – 3,061 units; BYD Song Plus – 2,903 units; Toyota RAV-4 – 2,858 units; Hyundai Tucson – 2,042 units and Renault Duster – 1,602 units.
At the same time, the following were in greatest demand among legal entities: Renault Duster – 3,769 units; Skoda Octavia – 1,147 units; Skoda Kodiaq - 827 units; Toyota Land Cruiser Prado - 821 units and Toyota Rav-4 - 756 units.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in November, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with about 8,300 new cars, the Chinese BYD is again among the leaders in sales of new cars.
