The russian military has begun equipping Shahed drones with models of R-60 short-range guided missiles.

The Advisor to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Serhii Beskrestnov has announced this.

Such models are used to influence Ukrainian aviation and attract the attention of units engaged in intercepting drones.

He noted that the Army Aviation has an understanding of how to act in such cases.

At the same time, he said, interceptor units operate as part of different branches of the military and agencies, so they can respond to such targets as a priority.

Beskrestnov also emphasized the need to identify signs that can distinguish drones with fake missiles.

Earlier, Beskrestnov stated that Ukraine had suspended its military operations with the russian federation, that Ukraine started implementing protection of Ukrzaliznytsia from drone strikes a few months late, but now integrated solutions already allow to save a significant number of trains.
