On the night of March 29, 2026, russian occupation forces launched insidious strikes on the Odesa Region, targeting energy facilities and civilian infrastructure. This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
As a result of the attack, an energy facility was damaged, which led to power outages in a number of settlements in the region. In addition to the energy infrastructure, the private sector suffered damage: one of the enemy drones hit a residential building, partially destroying the facade, and damage was also recorded on the territory of a summer cottage cooperative.
Rescue services worked quickly at the sites of the hits, and the fires were extinguished in a short time. Fortunately, there was no information about deaths or injuries among the civilian population.
16 drone hits were recorded at seven different locations. Currently, the assessment of the damage is underway in the Odesa Region, and specialized services are working to eliminate the consequences of the shelling and restore stable power supply.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the russian federation carried out a massive attack with drones and Kinzhal missiles, the air defense neutralized 380 out of 442 drones.
On the evening of Saturday, March 28, the Mykolaiv Region came under attack from russian Shahed drones.
