Almost a month after the start of the war against Iran, the United States intelligence can claim to have destroyed only a third of Iran's missile arsenal. Reuters reported this, citing its own sources.

Five unnamed Reuters interlocutors with knowledge of US intelligence said that after almost a month, the US can confidently claim to have eliminated only a third of Iran's missile arsenal.

The fate of about a third of the missiles is less clear, according to four other sources. These missiles were likely damaged, destroyed, or buried in underground tunnels as a result of the bombing.

One of the interlocutors said that similar information is available about Iranian drones. With a certain degree of confidence, we can say that a third of them were destroyed.

This estimate, which has not been previously reported, shows that although most of the missiles and UAVs have been either destroyed or are inaccessible, Iran still has a significant stockpile of weapons.

This intelligence contradicts President Donald Trump's public statements last Thursday, March 26. Then he said that Iran had very few missiles left.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 27, Axios wrote, that the United States is considering the option of seizing key Iranian islands in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz to put pressure on Iran to reach a deal.

Yesterday, March 26, the Iranian Tasnim news agency reported, citing its sources, that Iran mobilized up to a million soldiers to repel a possible US ground operation.
