The US Department of State has urged Americans around the world to be extremely cautious due to increased security risks. Particular attention is advised to pay attention to the situation in the Middle East, where the threats remain the highest.
This was reported by the US Embassy in Kyiv, emphasizing that the risks may apply not only to this region, but also to other countries.
"The US Department of State urges Americans around the world, especially in the Middle East, to exercise increased caution," the message says.
Americans who are abroad are recommended to follow all security advice provided by diplomatic institutions.
It is also warned about possible difficulties with travel due to the closure of airspace. "Periodic closures of airspace may cause travel disruptions," the embassy emphasized.
Separately, the US has drawn attention to the risks of attacks on diplomatic facilities. "US diplomatic facilities, including those outside the Middle East, have been targeted," the statement said.
In addition, there is a threat to other facilities associated with the US and Americans. "Groups supporting Iran may target other US facilities abroad or locations associated with the US and/or Americans around the world," the diplomats concluded.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 27, China urged its citizens to leave Iran as soon as possible and not plan trips to this country due to the growing threat of strikes by the United States.
