US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will visit France on March 27 to participate in a meeting of the G7 foreign ministers. Among the topics of discussion are the russian-Ukrainian war and the situation in the Middle East.

It was reported by the US State Department.

"Secretary of State Marco Rubio will travel to Cernay-la-Ville, France on March 27 to advance key U.S. interests at the G7 Foreign Affairs Ministerial," the statement said.

"Areas of focus will include the Russia-Ukraine war, the situation in the Middle East, and threats across the world to peace and stability," the department added.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff said, that during the talks with Ukraine on March 21 in Florida, they discussed narrowing the circle of unresolved issues to reach a peace agreement to resolve the russian-Ukrainian war.

Meanwhile, the administration of US President Donald Trump has decided on the end date of the war against Iran, which began in late February. It was chosen so that the head of the White House could receive an award from Israel.
