Russian dictator vladimir putin's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said that russia will not participate in the talks between Ukraine and the United States on March 21.

The russian service of the BBC and Interfax reported this.

"These will be bilateral contacts between Ukrainians and Americans," Peskov told reporters.

At the same time, he said that moscow hopes to resume the trilateral format of negotiations in the near future, and considers the pause in the talks "temporary."

Peskov also added that there is currently no clarity on the possible venue for the trilateral talks.

As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that over the past few days, Ukraine has received signals from the United States about the possible resumption of negotiations with the aggressor country russia.

Zelenskyy also informed on March 19 that the political part of the Ukrainian negotiating team is on its way to the United States, where meetings on ending the war against Ukraine are scheduled for March 21.
