In the Novosibirsk Oblast of russia, security forces are participating in the seizure and burning of livestock on farms that are allegedly affected by pasteurellosis. However, they show no documents, which is causing outrage and protests.

This is reported by the publication Siberian Express.

According to the local authorities of the aggressor country, the region is using "strict but necessary veterinary measures" to contain the spread of the disease. According to it, all actions are carried out in accordance with veterinary rules and legislation of the russian federation, and farmers have already begun to receive compensation for the seized livestock.

What farmers say

In contrast, farmers say that they have documents that their livestock is not sick. And security forces, on the contrary, do not have any documents that would explain what the livestock is supposedly sick with.

The first cases of animal disease were recorded in early February in two districts of the oblast. At that time, the authorities reported an outbreak of pasteurellosis and assured that the situation was under control. Subsequently, quarantine was introduced in a number of settlements, after which the forced removal of livestock from local residents began.

In early March, reports appeared of mass destruction of animals, including their burning. Some areas were closed for quarantine, and Kazakhstan banned the import of meat from the regions of Siberia.

Local residents reported a pungent smell from the burning of carcasses.

"The stench was like burning shit. In some places, the smell was even stronger than from a solid waste landfill," they said.

In several villages, residents blocked roads and recorded appeals to the head of the Kremlin, vladimir putin. In the village of Kozikha, according to media reports, residents went out to protest, noting that livestock is their main source of income.

Why are cattle disease doubts?

According to epidemiologist Mikhail Favorov, the official version of pasteurellosis is doubtful. He believes that russians are being lied to about the disease.

"This is a known infection, but the main thing is that it is treatable. The next thing is that they said it was mad cow disease. But it has very pronounced symptoms, no farmer would leave it unnoticed. That is, the most real thing is foot-and-mouth disease," he said.

What else is happening in russia

Recall that subscribers of MTS, Beeline and Megafon operators in Moscow receive SMSes about possible temporary restrictions on mobile Internet due to security measures.

Against this background, sales of offline communication equipment and paper maps have increased in the aggressor state, amid constant disruptions in the mobile Internet in Moscow, for which the authorities have not given a full explanation.
