Subscribers of MTS, Beeline and Megafon operators in Moscow are receiving SMSes about possible temporary restrictions on mobile internet due to security measures.
This is reported by Meduza.
In the messages, the operators note that "in order to ensure security measures in your area, temporary restrictions on mobile internet operation are possible".
At the same time, subscribers are being told about access to services from the so-called "white list" - a list of sites that should work even during mobile internet restrictions.
Outages with mobile internet and communication in Moscow have been recorded since the beginning of March. This is due to testing of "white lists", which, according to media reports, began operating in the city on March 13.
On March 14, residents of the Moscow Oblast also began to be notified of "temporary difficulties" with the mobile Internet, and on March 17 - residents of St. Petersburg.
Against this background, sales of offline communication equipment and paper maps increased in the aggressor state, amid constant disruptions in the work of the mobile Internet in Moscow, for which the authorities did not give a full explanation.
