From March 20, Ukrainians will be able to receive partial compensation for fuel costs purchased at gas stations participating in the programs.
This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"The government has approved the "Cashback on Fuel" program," she noted.
The cashback percentage will be: for diesel - 15%, for gasoline - 10%, for autogas - 5%.
According to the report, this will allow saving from UAH 2 to UAH 11 on each liter.
The maximum amount of cashback on fuel is up to UAH 1,000 per person per month.
The program will operate until May 1 within the framework of the National Cashback, and the list of gas stations will be published on the official resources of the program.
It is noted that compensation will be accrued automatically when paying by card if you already use the National Cashback.
And if you want to join, you need to open a card at a partner bank and select it for calculation and payments in the Diia application.
The accrued funds can be spent on paying for utilities, medicines, Ukrainian-made products, books, postal services or supporting Ukrainian defenders.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on March 12, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced that, based on the results of discussions with the President, the government is preparing a new support package for citizens, including cashback on fuel.
Director of the A-95 Consulting Group Serhii Kuyun previously wrote that the government has decided to provide assistance to car owners, namely to allocate a UAH 1,000 per month discount on fuel purchases.
