Over 120 enemy drones destroyed by air defense forces in massive night attack, with hits - Air Forces

Most of the enemy drones launched by russia from six directions at once since the evening of March 17 were destroyed or suppressed by electronic warfare, the Ukrainian Air Forces reported on Telegram.

The enemy attacked not only with Shaheds, of which there were more than 70, but also with new types of drones such as Gerbera and Italmas. Launches were recorded from Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and the occupied Crimea.

"The attack continues, there are several enemy UAVs in the airspace. Follow the safety rules!" the defenders of the sky called.

Despite the successful work of anti-aircraft gunners and aviation, 15 hits were recorded in 12 different locations, and the wreckage of downed aircraft fell in three more places. Mobile firing groups, anti-aircraft missile troops and electronic warfare units were involved in repelling the attack.

"The attack was massive, the enemy tried to deplete our air defense system with new types of cheap drones," the military emphasized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the kremlin is changing its strategy and redirecting money from missile production to mass production of drones. If now russia is attacking Ukraine with an average of 350-500 drones per day, then in 2026 the enemy plans to reach 600-800 units, and the ultimate goal is a thousand strikes daily.
