Russian army attacks port infrastructure in Odesa Region with drones, food warehouse damaged

On the evening of March 12, the troops of the aggressor country of russia launched a drone strike on the port infrastructure of the Odesa Region, as a result of which a food warehouse was damaged and a fire broke out.

This was announced by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper in the Telegram messenger, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to Kiper, the territory of one of the ports of the region was hit.

"As a result of the attack, a food warehouse was damaged in the port. A fire broke out, which was promptly extinguished by our rescuers," the head of the Regional Military Administration reported.

He added that there were no deaths or injuries.

The relevant services are involved in eliminating the consequences of the shelling.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the afternoon of March 4, russian occupation forces launched a missile strike on a transport infrastructure facility in the south of the Odesa Region, injuring four people, two of them children.

In the evening of the same day, a russian drone hit a civilian merchant ship leaving the port of the Odesa Region.
