Gasoline cars remain popular, market grows by 11% in February - UkrAutoprom

In February 2026, 10,800 passenger cars with gasoline engines were added to the Ukrainian car fleet, which is 11% more than in February 2025.

This is said in a statement by the UkrAutoprom association, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The report says that this number included new cars - 1,800 units (-4%) and pre-owned - 9,000 units (+14%).

The TOP-5 models of new passenger cars with gasoline internal combustion engines are: Mazda CX5 and Hyundai Tucson - 166 units each; Skoda Karoq - 115 units; Skoda Kodiaq - 83 units; Renault Duster - 82 units and Suzuki SX4 - 71 units.

Top 5 imported pre-owned gasoline cars: Audi Q5 - 562 units; Volkswagen Golf - 551 units; Volkswagen Tiguan - 515 units; Nissan Rogue - 464 units and Audi A4 - 272 units.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in January 2026, 11,400 passenger cars with gasoline engines joined the Ukrainian car fleet, which is 40% more than in January 2025.

In 2025, 26,300 new cars with gasoline engines were added to the Ukrainian car fleet, which is 6% less than in 2024.
