In January 2026, 11,400 passenger cars with gasoline engines were added to the Ukrainian car fleet, which is 40% more than in January 2025.
This is said in a statement by the UkrAutoprom association, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The report says that of this number, there were 1,700 units (+5%) of new cars, and 9,700 units of used cars (+49%).
The TOP-5 models of new passenger cars with gasoline internal combustion engines are: Hyundai Tucson - 183 units; Mazda CX5 - 139 units; Skoda Kodiaq - 75 units; Skoda Octavia - 70 units and Suzuki SX4 - 67 units.
Top 5 imported used gasoline cars: Volkswagen Golf - 649 units; Volkswagen Tiguan - 560 units; Nissan Rogue - 553 units; Audi Q5 - 542 units and Skoda Octavia - 337 units.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2025, 26,300 new cars with gasoline engines were added to the Ukrainian car fleet, which is 6% less than in 2024.
