In February 2026, 2,500 hybrid passenger cars (HEV and PHEV) joined the Ukrainian car fleet, which is 21% more than in February 2025.
This is said in a statement by the UkrAutoprom association, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The report says that the share of new cars in this number was 53%, compared to 63% in February 2025.
In the segment of new passenger cars, the Toyota Rav-4 remains the leader in the hybrid market (368 units).
Nissan X-Trail is in the second place (67 units).
The third most popular is the Nissan Qashqai (60 units).
Among the imported hybrids with mileage, the Ford Escape is the leader (64 units).
Also in the top three: Toyota Prius (62 units) and KIA Niro (60 units).
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in January 2026, 2,336 hybrid passenger cars (HEV and PHEV) joined the Ukrainian car fleet, which is 40% more than in January 2025.
In 2025, 31,200 hybrid passenger cars (HEV and PHEV) joined the Ukrainian fleet, which is 31% more than in 2024.
