In January, demand for hybrid cars (HEV and PHEV) increased by 40% in Ukraine - UkrAutoprom

In January 2026, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with 2,336 hybrid passenger cars (HEV and PHEV), which is 40% more than in January 2025.

This is stated in the message of the UkrAutoprom association, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The message says that the share of new cars in this number was 52% against 63% in January 2025.

In the segment of new passenger cars, the leader of the hybrid market was the Toyota Rav-4 crossover (322 units).

The second result was for Nissan Qashqai (79 units).

The third most popular is the Nissan X-Trail (63 units).

In the registrations of imported used cars with hybrid power plants, the Ford Escape (69 units) took the lead.

Also in the top three: Toyota Prius (61 units) and KIA Niro (60 units).

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2025 the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with 31,200 hybrid passenger cars (HEV and PHEV) - this is 31% more than in 2024.
