Ukrainian military conducted a successful operation targeting a factory in Bryansk that specializes in the production of control systems for russian missiles. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this during a conversation with journalists.
"While I was answering you, Commander Syrskyi called me and told me about the successful operation that had just taken place. The Bryansk plant was impressed," he said.
The President added that this enterprise produced components for various types of russian missiles and thanked the military for the result.
According to the Meduza, the plant in question is the Kremniy El plant, located in the Sovetsky District of Bryansk. Local residents posted videos of explosions in the city, and according to preliminary information, one of the large enterprises in the district was hit. Russian monitoring resources claim that the attack was carried out by Storm Shadow missiles, resulting in 12 people being injured at the plant, which produces chips, in particular for mobile devices.
Ahead of the explosions, a missile threat was announced in the Bryansk Oblast. Later, the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz, confirmed the missile attack on the city, reporting the presence of killed and wounded. According to updated data from russian sources, two people were killed.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in January and February 2026, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck three large enterprises of the military-industrial complex of the aggressor country russia, as well as one of the key missile ranges and two large arsenals.
On March 2, the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit two ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the aggressor country russia - frigates Admiral Essen and Admiral Makarov.
