Next week, a Ukrainian group of interceptor experts will arrive in the Middle East immediately with the appropriate capabilities. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a joint press conference with Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten.
The head of state emphasized interest in mutually beneficial cooperation and noted that Ukraine and the Gulf countries have a shortage of certain means that could be useful to both sides.
"It is too early to say about other details. Next week, when the experts are on site, they will look, help, because they are leaving immediately with the capabilities," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Pentagon has selected 11 suppliers of drones for the US Army, and a Ukrainian company has made it to the finals.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed that Ukraine had received a request from the United States for support in protecting against Shahed drones in the Middle East region.
Later, it was decided that Ukrainian specialists would go to the Middle East to protect American bases from Iranian drones.
