President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has ordered the training and deployment of Ukrainian specialists to the Middle East to help the United States counter Iranian Shahed kamikaze drones. According to Reuters, the trip will take place in the next few days.

Earlier, the United States asked Ukraine for help in protecting its bases and military in the region. The international community recognizes the successes of Ukrainian specialists in the fight against the Shaheds during the four years of war, and Zelenskyy agreed to provide support.

"We received a request from the United States for specific support in protection against "shaheds" in the Middle East region... I gave instructions to provide the necessary means and ensure the presence of Ukrainian specialists who can guarantee the required security," the newspaper quoted the President as saying.

According to the source, Ukrainian specialists will start working in the coming days. In a telephone interview with Reuters, US President Donald Trump said that "the United States will accept help from any country."
