The Supervisory Board of Ukrnafta JSC has been headed by Timothy Dodson, replacing Duncan Nightingale
This is said in a statement by the company, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The report says that by the decision of the government, Duncan Nightingale, who was the chairman of the supervisory board, joined the team of the Naftogaz of Ukraine.
It is noted that Timothy Dodson has more than 40 years of international experience in geology and production. He headed and was a member of the board of a number of British and Norwegian companies - Ennox Technology, New European Offshore, Sval Energi.
From 1985 to 2021, he worked at Equinor (formerly Statoil), rising from a well logger and geologist to Vice President of Strategy.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2025, the largest oil producer Ukrnafta increased oil production by 3.8% and gas production by 2.9%.
In November 2022, the shares of Motor Sich, Ukrnafta, AvtoKrAZ, Zaporizhtransformator (ZTR) and Ukrtatnafta were transferred to the state for the period of martial law.
After the martial law is over, the assets may be returned to their owners or their value will be reimbursed.
