The full-scale war claimed the lives of 1,029 railroad workers, 2,923 were injured. It was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.

Over 793 people lost their homes, 500 children were left without parents.

"For four years of the great war, the railroad has been moving non-stop. But behind this movement there are losses and pain, blows and destruction. 1,029 railway workers will never return to the tracks, drive trains or bring tea to passengers again. Their lives were taken by the war. Hundreds of families have been left homeless, five hundred children will no longer wait for their dad or mom to come home from work," Ukrzaliznytsia said.

As a reminder, the country that was supposed to be destroyed in a week has been at war for 1,400 days: today is the fourth anniversary of the russian attack on Ukraine.
