On the night of February 23, russians attacked an energy facility in the Odesa Region. The damage is significant and repairs will take time.
The press service of DTEK Odesa Grids has reported this.
"On the night of February 23, the enemy attacked the energy facility of DTEK Odesa Grids again. This is the 4th shelling of this substation since the beginning of the war," the statement said.
According to DTEK, the damage is significant and it will take time to repair the equipment to return it to working condition.
The power engineers have now started emergency repair work after receiving permission from rescuers and the military. Specialists are inspecting the equipment, dismantling the rubble, and then starting repairs.
In total, 3 substations have been heavily damaged by russian shelling over the past three days.
As a reminder, as a result of russian hostile attacks on the energy infrastructure on the morning of February 23, consumers in the Odesa, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Sumy Regions were cut off from electricity.
