Terrorist attack in Lviv. Sadovyi denies business showdowns in city

The goal of the terrorist attack in Lviv was to kill as many law enforcement officers as possible, not a "business showdown," information about which bots began to spread. Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi reported this on Facebook on Sunday, February 22.

Sadovyi noted that 12 victims of the terrorist attack are currently in the city's hospitals, two of whom are in very serious condition.

"I want to announce two facts to shut up all the bots and stop any thoughts in this direction. First. All the victims are employees who arrived on call. Except for one teenager who lives nearby. Second. This is not a "business showdown." This is a hostile special operation, the goal of which is to kill as many law enforcement officers as possible," Sadovyi emphasized.

The mayor of Lviv called on the Security Service of Ukraine to pay attention to some commentators who left their statements about the terrorist attack.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of February 22, explosions were heard in the central part of Lviv after the police arrived on a call about breaking into a store, which took the life of a policewoman and injured 25 people. The SSU classified the event as a terrorist attack.
