On the night of February 22, the russians carried out a missile and drone attack on Kyiv and the region. The consequences in the capital are currently being investigated, and in the Kyiv Region, damage was reported in five districts. 15 people were injured and one was killed as a result of the shelling by the aggressor state of russia.
This was reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Tymur Tkachenko and the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Mykola Kalashnyk.
Thus, at night, the russians attacked the city of Kyiv with ballistic weapons. Initially, Tkachenko reported that a residential high-rise building in the Sviatoshynskyi district was damaged - there was allegedly a fire on the roof. However, the information was not confirmed.
The Kyiv City Military Administration noted that the investigation of possible consequences of the attack at other locations is ongoing.
Meanwhile, the consequences of the enemy missile and drone attack were recorded in five districts of the region. Five private houses were damaged in the Fastiv district, people are being rescued from under the rubble.

In the Boryspil district of the Kyiv Region, a private house was damaged and a fire broke out in a farm building as a result of an enemy attack, the fire has been localized.
In the Brovary district, 10 premises in a garage cooperative were damaged, the fire was extinguished.
In the Bucha district, two private houses and a car were damaged.
In the Obukhiv district, damage was recorded to warehouses and a private house.

There were victims and a death from the attack in the Kyiv Region on February 22
In total, 15 people were injured in the attack on the Kyiv Region, including 4 children. In the Fastiv district, a 49-year-old man died from injuries.

In general, the Fastiv district suffered the most victims, where rescuers pulled eight people from under the rubble as a result of the collapse of a building. Seven of them received injuries of varying severity.
5 people were taken to a medical facility, including the deceased man, whom doctors tried to save. Three are in serious condition, two of them are in the operating room, and another is being treated in the emergency room.
There are also victims in the Boryspil, Vyshhorod, Obukhiv and Bucha districts - they received shrapnel wounds, cut wounds, fractures, poisoning by combustion products and acute stress reactions. Some of the victims were hospitalized, others were provided with assistance on the spot or on an outpatient basis.

Among the injured are four children, who are being provided with all necessary medical and psychological assistance.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of February 22, russian terrorist troops once again attacked the power system of the Odesa Region. The damage was significant, and large-scale fires broke out.
