Today, February 18, the russian terrorist army carried out a series of drone strikes in the Sumy Region, attacking civilian and critical infrastructure. 16 people were injured.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov.
Residential buildings, administrative buildings, transport and critical infrastructure facilities were under enemy attacks. The enemy again attacked civilian vehicles on the border.
Directly in the city of Sumy, apartment buildings and other buildings were damaged - hundreds of windows were broken, facades and roofs were damaged. The number of people injured as a result of russian UAV attacks has increased to 11: a 28-year-old woman remains in the hospital, the others are being treated as outpatients.
It is noted that the elimination of the consequences of the strikes continued throughout the day. Municipal services, rescuers, law enforcement officers and volunteers worked on the ground.
The russians also intensively attacked the Bilopillia community. Four civilians were injured - two men aged 39 and 52 were hospitalized.
In the Shostka district, in the Bereziv community, a 46-year-old man was injured when a UAV hit a house. He was also hospitalized.
All the injured are receiving medical assistance.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, russian troops carried out a massive strike on the critical infrastructure of the Kherson Region, causing a large-scale energy crisis in the region.
Also, one person was killed and several others were injured as a result of the russian strike on Zaporizhzhia.
