Russia attacks critical infrastructure in Kherson, city partially without water and electricity - Regional Military Administration

Russian troops have dealt a massive blow to the critical infrastructure of the Kherson Region, causing a large-scale energy crisis in the region. This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko.

As of the evening of February 17, more than 55,000 consumers remain without electricity.

The Dniprovskyi district of Kherson was the most affected, where not only residential buildings but also strategic infrastructure facilities were without electricity. In addition, water supply disruptions were recorded in the city center and the KhBK neighbourhood.

Currently, repair crews are working in an intensified mode to supply critical infrastructure. The Regional Military Administration urges residents to stock up on water, charge devices and use Invincibility Points if necessary.
