President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that as a result of a missile strike by the aggressor country of russia, the production line of Flamingo cruise missiles was destroyed. Now the production has already been relocated and has begun to be partially restored. He announced this at a press conference in Munich.
Thus, Zelenskyy noted that currently Ukraine does not have many Flamingo missiles. However, the other day they were successfully used in the territory from which the russians launch ballistic missiles Oreshnik. The President noted that "we will see the result, but we believe that it is already there."
According to him, it is now important to increase the production of Flamingo.
"We had technical problems. If between us, then one of our large production lines was destroyed by missiles - russian missiles. Now I can talk about it, because the production has already been relocated and has begun to be partially restored. The restart is underway," Zelenskyy said.
What is known about the Flamingo missile
FP-5 Flamingo is a Ukrainian surface-to-surface cruise missile with a claimed range of 3,000 kilometers. It was developed by Fire Point in conjunction with the British Milanion Group. Flamingo was first introduced in February 2025. According to the statements, in August the missile was allegedly in serial production.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in August 2025, Fire Point first showed the test of the Flamingo missile. Then journalists were invited to the test launch of the missile, who were allowed to film the launch.
