Russia has 7,000 Ukrainian prisoners, we have over 4,000 russians - Zelenskyy

Currently, the aggressor country of russia is holding about 7,000 Ukrainian soldiers captive, while Ukraine has over 4,000 people. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a press conference in Munich.

"They have about 7,000 Ukrainian prisoners of war. We have a little more than 4,000 prisoners, and this is good news, because there were one and a half thousand," Zelenskyy said.

The President emphasized that Ukraine is ready for exchanges in any format.

"If they say "all for all" - great. If they say "a thousand for a thousand" - not great, but very good. But even if they are ready to exchange "100 for 100", we will go for it, because for us any such step is positive. Our (negotiating) group has such a mandate," Zelenskyy noted.
