The government, together with the military and the capital's authorities, is developing an emergency plan to strengthen the security of Kyiv's critical infrastructure. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has stated this following a meeting of the Emergency Response Headquarters.

He said that the city's energy facilities will receive additional protection.

Priority nodes of the power system that need to be strengthened both by physical fortifications and by strengthening air defense have already been identified

"We have identified and prioritized infrastructure facilities that need additional protection. We also discussed the issue of strengthening the air defense of the capital. We continue to work to protect the energy system and minimize damage from Russian strikes," emphasized Denys Shmyhal.

As a result of the meeting, the relevant ministries and Kyiv city authorities received specific tasks to implement this plan as soon as possible.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced drastic changes in the work of air defense in several regions. Earlier, the Head of State called the results of counteracting the occupiers' UAV strikes unsatisfactory.

Earlier today, on February 10, President Zelenskyy criticized the pace of work of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to protect against russian attack drones.
