President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has demanded that the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine act much more quickly in protecting border regions from russian drones. The head of state said this following a conference call on the situation in the energy sector on Telegram.
The President emphasized the need to immediately strengthen air defense in the regions bordering russia, particularly in the Kharkiv Region, which suffers daily from the attacks of Shaheds.
"The Air Forces must act much more quickly to increase its ability to protect Kharkiv and other regions bordering Russia from Shaheds and other attack drones. Ukraine does not have time to wait for individual elements of the Air Forces to adjust," he emphasized.
In addition to the work of air defense, the parties discussed the critical situation with electricity supply. The Head of State expressed dissatisfaction with the pace of solving problems in some communities. According to him, not in all regions do local authorities and responsible services respond in a timely manner, and "appropriate conclusions should be drawn."
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the President of Ukraine held a conference call on the consequences of the massive russian strike. The enemy used more than 400 attack UAVs and almost 40 missiles, targeting objects on which the operation of nuclear power plants depends.
