In 2025, 31,200 hybrid passenger cars (HEV and PHEV) joined the Ukrainian car fleet, which is 31% more than in 2024.
This is said in a statement by the UkrAutoprom association, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The report says that the share of new cars in this number was 57%, the same as in 2024.
In the segment of new passenger cars, the leader of the hybrid market was the TOYOTA RAV-4 crossover (3,533 units).
The second result is TOYOTA Yaris Cross (953 units).
The third most popular is the NISSAN Qashqai (872 units).
In registrations of imported used cars with hybrid powertrains, TOYOTA Prius is the leader (815 units).
Also in the top three are the following: FORD Escape (726 units) and FORD Fusion US (687 units).
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in November, 2,600 hybrid passenger cars (HEV and PHEV) were added to the Ukrainian car fleet, which is 46% more than last year.
